Come and experience the grandeur of living in a luxury french castle at our rental chateau in the spectacular Loire Valley near Blois for your fairytale castle wedding or for a fantastic castle holiday with your friends and family. We can sleep up to 30 people in the chateau in luxury in 12 bedroom suites 8 being ensuite. Our suites are palatial. A holiday house can sleep another 8 people if required. The chateau is situated in the centre of a 4000 acre forest with breath-taking views.

The castle is filled with spectacular french architectural details. The grand reception rooms have five metre high ceilings and double vistas through pairs of floor to ceiling windows front and back. Sunlight pours into our luxury castle.

Our chateau is furnished with antiques and modern conveniences, a large HD television in our TV salon with SKY, flat screen televisions with DVD players in every suite, a 300 strong DVD collection, a three-quarter size vintage billiard table, free wi-fi access from all rooms, table tennis and trampoline.

A fairytale french wedding at our chateau is much cheaper than you would think. We provide the venue and a professional wedding planner puts together a bespoke wedding for you.

Our french castle was constructed in 1797 for a Prussian Prince specifically for the purpose of holding uber parties and for entertaining the wealthy and elite of France and Europe. All of the must see historic chateaux are within 15 – 40 minutes drive: Chateau Blois, Chateau Chambord, Chateau Chenonceau, Chateau Cheverny, Chateau Chaumont, Chateau Villandry, Chateau Clos Luce, and Chateau Amboise.

Castle Hire

The castle is run as a private luxury holiday rental self-catered on an exclusive basis all year long. In Summer, Christmas, New Year, Easter and the last week of May our luxury chateau is only available for weekly rental commencing on a Saturday.

The chateau’s interior is full of luxurious furnishings and impressive renaissance fireplaces complemented by gorgeous parquet floors, intricate plastering and original wood panelling. The magnificent reception rooms have floor to ceiling double aspect 5 metre high windows filling the rooms with sunshine both morning and afternoon.

Our luxury Chateau is set in 40 acres of gardens, meadows and woodland and is surrounded by 4,000 acres of unspoilt woods.

Chateau Wedding Venue

We have two grand reception rooms within the chateau – the Grand Salon and the Grand Dining Room. These rooms have the exact same dimensions and can seat up to 40 guests each. These rooms are separated by the Grand Hall with the Louis XV staircase and the black and white stone floor which is fantastic for dancing or to be used as reception room too. Our reception rooms have floor to ceiling windows for natural light to stream into your wedding reception.

Wedding cocktails, champagne and canapes can be taken on the lake terrace. If you are unfortunate enough to not be blessed with glorious weather this can be moved into the Grand Hall.

Wedding Reception – Dos and Don’ts

We do want our clients to have the wedding of their dreams which will not break their budget. We can recommend a team of highly experienced very reasonably priced independent wedding vendors. Your wedding planner will put together a bespoke affordable wedding package for you.

Rental Chateau

Our rental chateau presently sleeps 30 in seven luxury suites with ensuite facilities and another 5 bedrooms which share bathroom facilities.

There is also a rental property available on the domain which sleeps 10 very comfortably (or 12 maximum for families with children). This property is available for a two night minimum rental outside of all school holidays. This gives a maximum occupancy of 40 people which makes our chateau a wonderful location for any luxury house party, birthday, anniversary, wedding, or family reunion.

In summary the chateau suites sleep:-

Louis Suite – sleeps 2 in a king bed on the ground floor but not suitable for disabled guests.

Henri Suite – Sleeps 3 – 2 in a superking and 1 in a french day bed

Pompadour suite – Sleeps 3 – 2 in a superking (or twin beds) and 1 in a single bed

Diane Suite – Sleeps 2 in a superking four poster bed

Medici Suite – Sleeps 4 – 2 in a superking bed and 2 single beds

Proust Suite – Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. The beds can be set up as a superking and a king or all as twin beds. The second bedroom can only be accessed through the first bedroom. Both bedrooms access the ensuite.

Each ensuite has a hair dryer. Wireless broadband is also available.

Additionally the chateau can sleep another 12 people in 5 bedrooms on the top floor. The largest bedroom sleeps 4 with an ensuite. The other four bedrooms are all double and share one bathroom and a separate toilet. These rooms are perfect for extra accommodation for parties with large numbers.

For even larger parties there is a large luxury 5 bedroom holiday house with swimming pool available which can sleep up to 12 people. The master bedroom has an ensuite and the other four bedrooms share a family bathroom and a separate toilet.
